18er Gold
If you are in Berlin next weekend, you are very welcome to the opening ceremony of David Kroell and me exhibiting at Gallery 18er Gold.
I am proud to announce there will be plenty drinks and great music – and
of course entirely new pieces all over.

The Wonderful Hans Berg is going to perform the soundtrack of the night.

Edit: You'll find some images here.

Flickr
I just realised, my Flickr account is still working and there are a few more images, I haven't uploaded here.
Feel free to have a look and leave me
a comment, while I'm trying to embed this function at my website, too.

Visual Voltage
This weekend i'm going to illustrate for the Visual Voltage Workshop at the nordic embassies: Public Workshop Finissage, Saturday 23 January – 6pm. Free entry.

Through Design we can turn an invisible activity of energy consumption into a process that can be expierenced, thereby potentially altering awareness and leading to a change in behavior.

Edit: There's an update with some images from the workshop.
It has been a fantastic weekend.

I am Thomas
I was born in 1983 and grew up in the calm country-side of East Germany. Currently I am working and enjoying
life in Berlin.

I studied Interaction Design, where
I learned about programming and usability — but the quality of analogue techniques in print and illustration
soon fascinated me more than digital attractions.
It is something I am keen on working with, as it leads to experimental solutions and enables me to express contemporary ideas with the power of traditional means.

I've recently been working as an assistant in production for the
swedish artist Nathalie Djurberg and Serge Seidlitz (London). Once again
I experienced an exciting playground
that allowed me to enhance my skills
in handicraft and colour.

I am open for any new adventurous projects and experiences.
